I am a clinical social worker specializing in individual psychotherapy with adults. I treat all major mental health conditions, and I have a special interest in working with other mental health and health professionals, as well as individuals wanting support around trauma/dissociation, problematic substance use, and challenges related to a loved one's substance use.

I received my Social Work and Addiction Counseling education from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. I completed the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program (PPTP) through the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and the Eating Disorders, Compulsions, and Addiction program through the William Alanson White Institute in NYC. I have training in somatic principles, CBT, and DBT.  I primarily practice from a psychodynamic, feminist, and relational lens.

I am a licensed professional counselor with experience serving individuals, couples, children and families. I specialize in providing relational therapy to address major disruptions in mood and functioning. My interests include building collaborative treatment spaces where well-being can be found amid dynamic patterns. I have good experience serving both active and retired professionals, adults and children living on the spectrum, and those struggling with adjustment, pain or loss. 

My academic training was held at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and I have practiced under the supervision of relational, analytical, and behavioral professionals in the Twin Cities since 2013. I have in-depth training and experience in principles related to both addiction counseling and neurodivergence. My go-to therapy approaches are psychodynamic and relational. Outside the office, you might find me cheering at my kids' youth sporting events or staring transfixed on the sidewalk over a busy ant colony.
